DonateWest is the Western Australian agency that manages all aspects of organ and tissue donation after death for transplantation. It commenced operations in 2000 coordinating all organ and tissue donor activities across Western Australia.

DonateWest is the statewide agency that provides a framework for policy and practice within the specialist field of organ and tissue donation in Western Australia.
DonateWest aims to maximise organ and tissue donation across Western Australia by collaborating with health care staff, community groups, the media and the wider public, whilst facilitating a positive outcome for donor families.
Objectives
DonateWest aims to provide:
- A community that has an understanding of the need and importance of organ and tissue donation
- Widespread awareness among all Western Australians of the need to discuss any intention to donate with their families
- Compassionate and appropriate support to donor families during and following the decision making process
- Effective services in organ and tissue donation
